Training

Over the past two years, 2021 and 2022, Faye has been training to become a Foot Health Practitioner, qualifying in August 2022. Recently she has attended a couple of Masterclasses including more in–depth treatment of Verruca – taking in a little knowledge of virology, and in grown toenails – the bane of many people. Both conditions can cause alteration of the way we walk with the long–term effect of untreated cases not only causing pain, discomfort and infection. This change in walking style (gait) can affect knees, hips, back and even shoulders! And so the importance of healthy feet can be clearly seen when it comes to keeping fit and active.

In line with what RBT offers the next planned training will be to re–assess massage techniques followed by specific treatment to assess and improve shoulder & neck discomfort. We shall be reporting back on how this training is going!
